The Kross Hexagon 5.0 is a bicycle that can introduce you to mountain biking, and at the same time, it will easily serve as a bike to ride around the city. It is inspired by solutions from of our MTB hardtail series bikes, thanks to which it can also cope with more difficult terrain. We have equipped it with proven accessories and very advanced solutions. Thanks to this, you will easily find yourself in the city, and you will also be able to try your hand at the first MTB marathons.

COMPONENTS

The Hexagon 5.0 is a great choice for anyone looking for a universal bike. The proven Shimano  drivetrain with 24 speeds ensures trouble-free use and low-cost maintenance. The Shimano Acera rear derailleur facilitates shifting even on more difficult terrain and requires less attention than lower groups. To ensure braking reliability in all conditions we equipped the Kross Hexagon 5.0 with mechanical disc brakes. They provide a higher braking force than conventional v-brakes. It also ensures much larger and more precise modulation of the braking force than with mechanical disc brakes. The suspended SR Suntour XCE28 form will smooth out any bumps on the road, and can handle the terrain.

TECHNOLOGIES

The Kross Hexagon 5.0 frame was made of performance aluminium. This is a special performance aluminium 6061 alloy due to which the frame of the bike is stiff and resistant to damages. At the same time, it is a relatively light material that can surprise many cyclists with its properties. The Frame is powder coated, which translates into durability of the paintjob and its resistance to mechanical damage. The Kross Hexagon 5.0 is available in two wheel sizes - 27.5 inches and 29 in all frame sizes. Regardless of which size you choose, the bike will be fitted with them 2.1 inch wide Mitas Ocelot tires, adapted to light terrain.
